Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Axel Wrede-Sparre af Sundby (1708-1772) by Gustaf Lundberg was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2020. It changed hands for a price of SEK 38,000.00 (€ 3,784.46) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gustaf Lundberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Venus with a white dove in December 2014 with an auction result of SEK 260,000.00 (€ 27,458.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Axel Wrede-Sparre af Sundby (1708-1772) von Gustaf Lundberg kam im Dezember 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von SEK 38.000,00 (€ 3.784,46) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gustaf Lundberg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Venus with a white dove im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 260.000,00 (€ 27.458,89).
