Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown by Guo Xuehu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,728.74) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Guo Xuehu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2014 the work Unknown was auctioned for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 6,502.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Unknown von Guo Xuehu kam im Mai 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.728,74) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Guo Xuehu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2014 die Arbeit Unknown für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 6.502,02) versteigert.
