Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Moth Orchid by Guo Xuehu was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. It changed hands for a price of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 5,333.13) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Guo Xuehu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2014 the work Unknown was auctioned for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 6,502.02).

Die Arbeit Moth Orchid von Guo Xuehu wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 5.333,13) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Guo Xuehu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2014 die Arbeit Unknown für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 6.502,02) versteigert.
