Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Literati: Early Ink Masters, which included the work The Great Spirit by Guo Hanshen. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,744.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guo Hanshen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Thoughts (Set Of Three) in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 35,303.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Literati: Early Ink Masters durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Great Spirit von Guo Hanshen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.744,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guo Hanshen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Thoughts (Set Of Three) im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 35.303,78).
