Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Evening Meditation by Guo Hanshen was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 160,000.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,984.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Guo Hanshen have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2016 the work Red Thoughts (Set Of Three) was auctioned for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 35,303.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Evening Meditation von Guo Hanshen kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 160.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.984,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Guo Hanshen konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2016 die Arbeit Red Thoughts (Set Of Three) für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 35.303,78) versteigert.
