Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Guillaume Courtois could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours auction, the work A kneeling man with his arms outstretched changed hands for GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,673.14) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guillaume Courtois achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ceres At A Fountain, Attended By Putti in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 163,250.00 (€ 201,332.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Guillaume Courtois konnte im Juli 2020 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
