This artwork by Guillaume Apollinaire achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2014. In the Czech Avant-Garde Art from the Roy and Mary Cullen Collection auction, the work French Alkoholy Translated By Zdeněk Kalista. Prague: Edice Pásmo, 1933 sold for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,728.75) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 700.00.
