Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Paintings Day Sale, which included the work Ecce Homo by Guido Cagnacci. The price achieved of GBP 18,500.00 (€ 25,138.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guido Cagnacci achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reclining Male Nude in January 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,142,500.00 (€ 875,277.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ecce Homo von Guido Cagnacci zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 18.500,00 (€ 25.138,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guido Cagnacci erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reclining Male Nude im Januar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.142.500,00 (€ 875.277,71).
