Auction result misses estimated price range
In January last year a collector was able to acquire the work An allegory of Vanity and Penitence by Guido Cagnacci for USD 685,500.00 (€ 611,398.50). This price was achieved in the auction Master to Master: The Nelson Shanks Collection at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Guido Cagnacci have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in January 2012 by the work Reclining Male Nude at USD 1,142,500.00 (€ 875,277.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit An allegory of Vanity and Penitence von Guido Cagnacci für USD 685.500,00 (€ 611.398,50) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Master to Master: The Nelson Shanks Collection bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Guido Cagnacci wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Januar 2012 die Arbeit Reclining Male Nude mit USD 1.142.500,00 (€ 875.277,71).
