Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy In Clerical Script by Gui Fu was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 63,000.00 (€ 6,745.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gui Fu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Pair Of Long -Men Couplet Of Calligraphy In Seal Script in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 4,130,000.00 (€ 425,195.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Clerical Script von Gui Fu wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 63.000,00 (€ 6.745,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gui Fu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Pair Of Long -Men Couplet Of Calligraphy In Seal Script im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.130.000,00 (€ 425.195,53).
