The work Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu by Gui Fu was worth HKD 437,500.00 (€ 51,640.66) to a buyer in April 2017. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Gui Fu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Pair Of Long -Men Couplet Of Calligraphy In Seal Script in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 4,130,000.00 (€ 425,195.53).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu von Gui Fu war einem Käufer im April 2017 HKD 437.500,00 (€ 51.640,66) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gui Fu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Pair Of Long -Men Couplet Of Calligraphy In Seal Script im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.130.000,00 (€ 425.195,53).
