Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2011 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art, which included the work Washerwomen on a track above the Bay of Naples, Vesuvius beyond by Guglielmo Giusti. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,830.03). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guglielmo Giusti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Napoli, A Palazzo Donn'Anna, which sold at auction in June 2006 for EUR 4,340.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Washerwomen on a track above the Bay of Naples, Vesuvius beyond von Guglielmo Giusti zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.830,03) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Guglielmo Giusti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Napoli, A Palazzo Donn'Anna beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für EUR 4.340,00 versteigert wurde.
