Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2002 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Pictures, which included the work The Rest on the Flight into Egypt by Guglielmo Caccia. The price achieved of GBP 17,925.00 (€ 29,002.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guglielmo Caccia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Holy Family with Saint Anthony Abbot and angels, which sold at auction in July 2008 for GBP 51,650.00 (€ 65,621.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Rest on the Flight into Egypt von Guglielmo Caccia zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 17.925,00 (€ 29.002,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Guglielmo Caccia mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Holy Family with Saint Anthony Abbot and angels beobachtet, die im Juli 2008 für GBP 51.650,00 (€ 65.621,91) versteigert wurde.
