In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Zugleich Mit Der Sonne Geht Auf Die Patience - 1996 sold for EUR 3,936.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Günter Brus achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Von unten nach oben in December 2020 with an auction result of EUR 200,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 97 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Günter Brus erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online wurde die Arbeit Zugleich Mit Der Sonne Geht Auf Die Patience - 1996 für EUR 3.936,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Günter Brus erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Von unten nach oben im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 200.000,00.
