Auction result misses estimated price range
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Papirflyveren I” (The Paper Airplane I), 1969 by Gudmund Olsen for DKK 7,000.00 (€ 939.55). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Gudmund Olsen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Opus V”, 1955 in March this year with an auction result of DKK 40,000.00 (€ 5,367.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Papirflyveren I” (The Paper Airplane I), 1969 von Gudmund Olsen für DKK 7.000,00 (€ 939,55) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gudmund Olsen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Opus V”, 1955 im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 40.000,00 (€ 5.367,92).
