Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Rafting In The Park by Guan Zilan. The price achieved of HKD 3,000,000.00 (€ 328,690.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 2,400,000.00 – 3,500,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guan Zilan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of A Young Girl, which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 9,775,000.00 (€ 1,070,982.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rafting In The Park von Guan Zilan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.000.000,00 (€ 328.690,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 2.400.000,00 – 3.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Guan Zilan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Girl beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für HKD 9.775.000,00 (€ 1.070.982,67) versteigert wurde.
