Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art Evening Sale, which included the work Fishing By The Lake by Guan Zilan. The price achieved of HKD 2,125,000.00 (€ 232,822.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,600,000.00 – 2,400,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guan Zilan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Young Girl in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 9,775,000.00 (€ 1,070,982.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fishing By The Lake von Guan Zilan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 2.125.000,00 (€ 232.822,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.600.000,00 – 2.400.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guan Zilan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Girl im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.775.000,00 (€ 1.070.982,67).
