Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Without Interest, Nothing To Say, Not Interesting, Not Fun (Four Works) by Guan Wei was sold in the The Ullens Collection - Experimentation and Evolution auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. The price achieved of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 16,161.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guan Wei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Playing With String in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,100,000.00 (€ 95,594.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Without Interest, Nothing To Say, Not Interesting, Not Fun (Four Works) von Guan Wei wurde im Oktober 2011 in der Auktion The Ullens Collection - Experimentation and Evolution bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 16.161,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guan Wei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Playing With String im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.100.000,00 (€ 95.594,09).
