The work Green Lanscape by Gu Qingyao was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 23,600.00 (€ 2,526.75), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 57%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gu Qingyao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Waterfall, which sold at auction in December this year for HKD 44,100.00 (€ 5,102.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 57 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Green Lanscape von Gu Qingyao kam im April 2021 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 23.600,00 (€ 2.526,75) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 57%. Für andere Arbeiten von Gu Qingyao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Waterfall beobachtet, die im Dezember diesen Jahres für HKD 44.100,00 (€ 5.102,87) versteigert wurde.
