Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Flower and Bird in the Style of Hua Yan by Gu Qingyao. The price achieved of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,277.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Other works by Gu Qingyao have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December this year the work Waterfall was auctioned for HKD 44,100.00 (€ 5,102.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flower and Bird in the Style of Hua Yan von Gu Qingyao zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.277,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Gu Qingyao konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres die Arbeit Waterfall für HKD 44.100,00 (€ 5.102,87) versteigert.
