Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Gregory Crewdson was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in April this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 4,826.00 (€ 4,371.38) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gregory Crewdson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dream House Portfolio in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 169,000.00 (€ 115,059.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Gregory Crewdson wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 4.826,00 (€ 4.371,38) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gregory Crewdson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Dream House Portfolio im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 169.000,00 (€ 115.059,91).
