Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Gregorio Vardanega achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in December 2015. In the Art Contemporain vente du jour auction, the work Orthogonalisme Chromatique sold for EUR 20,625.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gregorio Vardanega - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pintura, which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 65,091.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gregorio Vardanega erzielte im Dezember 2015 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Contemporain vente du jour wurde die Arbeit Orthogonalisme Chromatique für EUR 20.625,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gregorio Vardanega mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pintura beobachtet, die im November 2015 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 65.091,84) versteigert wurde.
