Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cercles/Lumineux by Gregorio Vardanega was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,273.40) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Gregorio Vardanega have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pintura in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 65,091.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cercles/Lumineux von Gregorio Vardanega kam im Mai 2009 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 18.000,00 – 22.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 13.273,40) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gregorio Vardanega auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pintura im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 65.091,84).
