Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Il risveglio by Gregorio Sciltian was sold in the Post War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Milan in November 2007. The price achieved of EUR 21,620.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gregorio Sciltian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Musikstunde, which sold at auction in March 2007 for EUR 61,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Il risveglio von Gregorio Sciltian wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 21.620,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gregorio Sciltian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Musikstunde beobachtet, die im März 2007 für EUR 61.200,00 versteigert wurde.
