Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Old Master and British Drawings, which included the work The Martyrdom Of Saint Peter by Gregorio Pagani. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,314.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gregorio Pagani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Marriage Feast at Cana, which sold at auction in December 2018 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,711.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Master and British Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Martyrdom Of Saint Peter von Gregorio Pagani zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.314,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gregorio Pagani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Marriage Feast at Cana beobachtet, die im Dezember 2018 für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.711,33) versteigert wurde.
