A top price for Gregorio Pagani - as previously expected
In December 2018 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters/New Scholars: Works of Art Sold to Benefit Rugby School, which included the work The Marriage Feast at Cana by Gregorio Pagani. The auction ended at the price of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,711.33), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Marriage Feast at Cana is the most expensive artwork by Gregorio Pagani that we have observed at auctions so far.
