Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Kim Basinger, Los Angeles - 1986 by Greg Gorman was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in September 2019. The price achieved of EUR 1,820.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Greg Gorman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Iman, Los Angeles, 1988, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,128.15).

Die Arbeit Kim Basinger, Los Angeles - 1986 von Greg Gorman kam im September 2019 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.820,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Greg Gorman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Iman, Los Angeles, 1988 beobachtet, die im November 2006 für GBP 4.800,00 (€ 7.128,15) versteigert wurde.
