Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The White Cloud, Menlo Park by Granville Redmond was sold in the California Art auction at Bonhams in April this year. The price achieved of USD 35,655.00 (€ 32,296.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Granville Redmond achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work California Poppies in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 424,000.00 (€ 499,646.48).
