In November this year Bonhams in Edinburgh held the auction California Art, which included the work Oaks and Wildflowers by Granville Redmond. The »bidding war« ended at USD 76,700.00 (€ 70,315.36), 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Granville Redmond have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work California Poppies in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 424,000.00 (€ 499,646.48).

Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Edinburgh die Auktion California Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Oaks and Wildflowers von Granville Redmond zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 76.700,00 (€ 70.315,36) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Granville Redmond auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit California Poppies im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 424.000,00 (€ 499.646,48).
