The price achieved of USD 126,375.00 (€ 119,934.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Granville Redmond have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work California Poppies in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 424,000.00 (€ 499,646.48).
