The work Glimpse of Sky by Granville Redmond was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November last year. It achieved a price of USD 15,300.00 (€ 14,821.27), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Granville Redmond achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work California Poppies in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 424,000.00 (€ 499,646.48).

Die Arbeit Glimpse of Sky von Granville Redmond kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 15.300,00 (€ 14.821,27) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Granville Redmond erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit California Poppies im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 424.000,00 (€ 499.646,48).
