Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Clarissa's World by Grace Hartigan was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in New York in November this year. The price achieved of USD 254,500.00 (€ 233,315.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Grace Hartigan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Early November in May last year with an auction result of USD 1,380,000.00 (€ 1,285,993.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Clarissa's World von Grace Hartigan wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 254.500,00 (€ 233.315,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden.
