In October 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Collector, Dealer, Connoisseur: The Vision of Richard L. Feigen, which included the work Landscape with a Farm and Trees Beside a River by Gottfried Wals. The »bidding war« ended at USD 94,500.00 (€ 81,804.02), 35% above the upper estimate. Other works by Gottfried Wals have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 88,900.00 (€ 106,932.91) in December 2013 for the work Landscape With A Herdsman Watering His Animals On The Shore Of A Lake, A Farmhouse On The Right.

Feigen durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape with a Farm and Trees Beside a River von Gottfried Wals zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 94.500,00 (€ 81.804,02) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
