Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life with Marrow by Gordon Bryce was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,615.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Gordon Bryce have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The simple room in March 2002 with an auction result of GBP 4,465.00 (€ 7,299.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life with Marrow von Gordon Bryce kam im Oktober 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.615,57) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
