Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gordon Bryce could be acquired at Christies in London in May 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work Winter, Bieldside changed hands for GBP 960.00 (€ 1,412.70) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Gordon Bryce have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The simple room in March 2002 with an auction result of GBP 4,465.00 (€ 7,299.10).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Gordon Bryce konnte im Mai 2007 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century British Art wechselte die Arbeit Winter, Bieldside für GBP 960,00 (€ 1.412,70) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00.
