In April 2012 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work Miss You by Gong Lilong. The auction ended at the price of HKD 560,000.00 (€ 54,564.97), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 420,000.00 – 560,000.00. Other works by Gong Lilong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2011 the work Dancing was auctioned for HKD 1,100,000.00 (€ 95,594.09).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im April 2012 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Miss You von Gong Lilong zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 560.000,00 (€ 54.564,97) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 420.000,00 – 560.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Gong Lilong konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2011 die Arbeit Dancing für HKD 1.100.000,00 (€ 95.594,09) versteigert.
