The work Happy Couple by Gong Lilong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. It achieved a price of HKD 800,000.00 (€ 73,879.69), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Other works by Gong Lilong have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 1,100,000.00 (€ 95,594.09) in April 2011 for the work Dancing.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 800.000,00 (€ 73.879,69) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Andere Arbeiten von Gong Lilong haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.100.000,00 (€ 95.594,09) im April 2011 für die Arbeit Dancing beobachtet.
