Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Götz Diergarten could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples auction, the work Untitled, 2003 changed hands for GBP 625.00 (€ 700.76) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Götz Diergarten achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „29 Photographs (Ravenoville)“ in December 2020 with an auction result of EUR 8,625.00.
