Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "It became apparent that Brenda would not be sharing her meatball with the rest of us after all" by Glen Baxter was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2000. The price achieved of GBP 470.00 (€ 748.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Glen Baxter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Wonder Book of Sex, How to Do It in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,577.66).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 470,00 (€ 748,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden.
