Sold at the lower estimate price
In April 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings, which included the work A Landscape With A Roman Ruin And Figures Resting Beside A Stream by Giuseppe Zais. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,700.87) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Zais achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Tiber, Rome, with the Castel Sant' Angelo and Saint Peter's in the background; and The Roman Forum in May 2005 with an auction result of USD 240,000.00 (€ 194,347.72).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Tiber, Rome, with the Castel Sant' Angelo and Saint Peter's in the background; and The Roman Forum im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 240.000,00 (€ 194.347,72).
