In December 2010 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art, which included the work Fishermen on the lagoon before Venice under moonlight by Giuseppe Vizzotto Alberti. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,899.99), 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Vizzotto Alberti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fishermen On The Venetian Lagoon, Dusk, which sold at auction in June 2006 for GBP 4,080.00 (€ 5,903.69).

Im Dezember 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fishermen on the lagoon before Venice under moonlight von Giuseppe Vizzotto Alberti zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.899,99) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Vizzotto Alberti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fishermen On The Venetian Lagoon, Dusk beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für GBP 4.080,00 (€ 5.903,69) versteigert wurde.
