Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,491.15) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Vasi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Prospetto dell'Alma Cittá di Roma visto dal Monte Gianicolo, which sold at auction in December 2019 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,728.24).
