Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
When the work Senza titolo by Giuseppe Spagnulo was auctioned at Christies in Milan in May 2007, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at - in retrospect quite modest - EUR 6,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at EUR 19,840.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Giuseppe Spagnulo; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Senza Titolo sold at auction in November 2005 with the realized price of EUR 24,180.00.
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Als die Arbeit Senza titolo von Giuseppe Spagnulo im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Mailand versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – EUR 6.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit EUR 19.840,00 mehr als dreimal so hoch. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Giuseppe Spagnulo; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Senza Titolo im November 2005 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 24.180,00.
