This work of art by Giuseppe Nuvolone could be acquired at Sothebys in Milan in May 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master Paintings auction, the work Angelo Con Corona E Palma Del Martirio changed hands for EUR 11,050.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Nuvolone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cefalo e Procri in November 2008 with an auction result of EUR 76,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giuseppe Nuvolone konnte im Mai 2008 bei Sothebys in Mailand für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Angelo Con Corona E Palma Del Martirio für EUR 11.050,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Nuvolone auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cefalo e Procri im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 76.400,00.
