The work The Bay of Naples seen from the East; and A view of the port of Naples by Giuseppe Gustavo Scoppa was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2017. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,405.45), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Giuseppe Gustavo Scoppa have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2003 the work Carriages and figures on the Via della Riviera di Chiaia, Naples was auctioned for GBP 3,995.00 (€ 5,835.06).

Die Arbeit The Bay of Naples seen from the East; and A view of the port of Naples von Giuseppe Gustavo Scoppa kam im November 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.405,45) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Gustavo Scoppa konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2003 die Arbeit Carriages and figures on the Via della Riviera di Chiaia, Naples für GBP 3.995,00 (€ 5.835,06) versteigert.
