In July 2018 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours, which included the work The interior of S. Maria in Aracoeli, Rome by Giuseppe Galli Bibiena. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,613.72), 41% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Galli Bibiena have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Portico And Staircase Of A Palace With Soldiers And A Woman Being Carried Off On Horseback; An Imaginary View Of A Palace With A Horseman And Angels in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 73,250.00 (€ 90,337.59).

Maria in Aracoeli, Rome von Giuseppe Galli Bibiena zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.613,72) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
