This work without title by Giuseppe Bartolomeo Chiari was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in May 2021. The result of EUR 500.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Bartolomeo Chiari achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bathsheba at the Bath; and The Angel Appearing to Hagar in the Wilderness in January this year with an auction result of USD 378,000.00 (€ 348,130.41).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Giuseppe Bartolomeo Chiari wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 500,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Bartolomeo Chiari erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bathsheba at the Bath; and The Angel Appearing to Hagar in the Wilderness im Januar diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 378.000,00 (€ 348.130,41).
