Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2015 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work The Artist Painting On The Beach, Ischia by Giuseppe Casciaro. The price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,822.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Giuseppe Casciaro have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2006 the work Il mare di castro was auctioned for GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,692.23).

Im Januar 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Artist Painting On The Beach, Ischia von Giuseppe Casciaro zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.822,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Casciaro konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2006 die Arbeit Il mare di castro für GBP 7.200,00 (€ 10.692,23) versteigert.
