Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Giuseppe Casciaro achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in December this year. In the 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Nel mio giardino sold for EUR 800.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 350.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Casciaro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il mare di castro in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,692.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giuseppe Casciaro erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures wurde die Arbeit Nel mio giardino für EUR 800,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 350,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Casciaro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il mare di castro im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.200,00 (€ 10.692,23).
