The work Marina a Capri by Giuseppe Casciaro was sold in the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction at Il Ponte in June 2020. The auction ended at the price of EUR 650.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 600.00 – 650.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Casciaro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il mare di castro in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,692.23).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Marina a Capri von Giuseppe Casciaro wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 650,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 650,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Casciaro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il mare di castro im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.200,00 (€ 10.692,23).
